| Long story. 2 year project with Robert Rico is now FUBAR. Lost out on about $4K with him. Get a call from Rico say "I'm going out of business. Come get your car. *click*" Paid Rico a lot of cash to pull an engine, rebuild it to my specs and toss it back in and start it. Not even to tune it. I was going to do that. He pulled the engine and let it sit for a long time and never finished it. Get the car back yesterday and it's practically in pieces. Engine was in but only cause I put it in myself with little to no help. Rico didn't even fully assemble everything, left my car out in the elements, just destroyed the exterior of the car. I basically got screwed..big time. I even had to pay for the towing to get it to my paint guys house. It will take a long time to get it all done right by myself and about another $4K. I am just tired of screwing with the car. I have another TT and I'll probably just throw all my performance parts into that one. I am probably going to part out the original project for whatever I can't use on the red one. I am pretty pissed off about it. I am already setting up legal action with a lawyer friend from college.
